| Welcome to Lübeck everyone! |
So pretty much my weekend was spent in Lübeck with some good friends, so here are some of the things we saw and did.
| There were some cannons out front...and we all took the opportunity to sit on them a bit! |
| Here is a Bismarck statue we found just outside the Bahnhof! |
| Then I took a quick nap in front of a lion near the main gate |
| And Gus got in touch with his sensitive affectionate side |
But our trip to Lübeck wasn't just all fun and games; we visited many churches, statues, and places of interested (some whose photographic moments will be posted later due to the fact a large contingent of USAC students are in Berlin right now)
| Here is the church we got to see which had incredible things inside! |
| The organ waaaay up there! |
| Kim is incredibly thrilled |
| Church from the outside! | |
| Back to sillyness! |
| Gus rides off on an angry lion |
| Tank? |
| more obligatory cannon-mounting |
At which point of course, we found a playground, and felt the need to play in it.
| It doesn't quite measure up to our teeter-totter...but it passed the Gus test |
| And the Zach test |
| Ian enjoys the swing |
| Kim has her shoe stolen by some putz in a Bayern-München jersey |
| One thing that should be mentioned, to get to Travemünde...you do need to take a bus..sadly we were not motivated to do so. Here, Gus has passed out on a bench. |
On a more serious note, Lübeck is a gorgeous city, and this can be best explained through the gorgeous photography of Ian, who in light of my camera's dead battery, did it some rightful justice.
| One of the many gorgeous Lübeck streets |
The trip turned out to be a success, so until next time!
| on the way home |
| creepy-est good bye wave we have seen |
Some crazy person was quacking and walking around Am Sande when we got back....weiiird
