(it is now 2 AM, I can now speak English!)

Salt Festival!

So today was this weekend there was this HUGE salt festival at Am Sande in town, and it was so cool...I tried to write about it in German...but it just would not have translated!
The Krone wagon rolls through!
The gorgeous draft horses pulling it!

These guys were with a bed and breakfast I think, and had a bed in back!

This bus was full of old ladies

I think this had something to do with a music group for the mentally handicapped

This was pulling a wagon full of balloons

This had something to do with 'kids are the future' I think

Battle of the Bands!

It was pretty cool how many bands participated at the Salt Festival. I tried to hear the exact number, but the announcer's accent was a bit hard to follow. I think it was a ballpark of 20 marching bands or something.

Deutsch Feurwehr or Firemen!

The Deutsche Feuerwehr had a really cool 'parade float', which was essentially an old fire-fighting apparatus!

And then of course what they use now haha
This guy was relatively annoyed with everything in general haha

This baking company just kept handing out free bread!

After watching the fest, we sat Am Sande with a Weißbier, and relaxed for a bit.
We all got the same one haha
But not before singing ICH BIN EIN LÜNEBURGER!
The sunset over Am Sande signals the end to a good day!
